Red Hot Chili Peppers’ iconic bass guitarist Flea took to his official Instagram account to share a new post and remembered the devastating incident that happened to another black person named Jacob Blake.

As you might already know, another black person named Jacob Blake shot and paralyzed by police officers even after the death of George Floyd, and people started to protest in the streets as well as social media.

While the whole world standing against the racism problem in the United States, NBA teams are some of the organizations that boycotted the competitions to take attention to racism in the country.

Following this bad news, Flea wanted to show his support to the black people once again and said that he is yearning for equality, justice, and unity in the United States. He also prayed for Jacob Blake’s soul and hoped that his children could find peace and safety in the future.

Here is what Flea wrote:

I’m yearning for true equality, justice, unity, and opportunity in the USA.

Hoping the children of Jacob Blake can have peace, safety, and opportunity in their lives. God bless his soul.”
