The iconic bass guitarist of Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Flea, has shared a special photo of Rush drummer and lyricist, Neil Peart, via his verified and official Instagram account.

4 days ago, the Canadian drummer, Neil Peart, passed away, following a quiet battle with an aggressive form of brain cancer called glioblastoma. He was 67.

Today, Red Hot Chilli Peppers’ icon has doesn’t forget Neil Peart and penned down an emotional message about his death. They had been good friends and loved each other.

Here’s the message of Flea for Neil Peart:

“I’m gonna go spend the day air drumming. R.I.P. Neil Peart.

What a craftsman, That dude fucking shredded.”
