The iconic bass guitarist of Red Hot Chilli Peppers, Flea has posted a rare photo of the Danish-born actress, Anna Karina via his verified Instagram account.

Yesterday, Anna Karina has died at the age of 79. According to the French officials and her agent, Anna died earlier this weekend in a hospital in Paris, from cancer.

Anna Karina, who epitomized the 1960s style, starred in seven films made by her ex-husband Godard, including ‘Alphaville.’

Red Hot Chilli Peppers star, Flea has penned down an emotional message due to the unexpected death of Anna Karina. Flea said that Anna is one of his all-time favorites.

Here’s what Flea wrote:

“One of my all-time favorites. I lit up my movie-going heart time and time again.

The leading lady Anna Karina. So bold, so vulnerable, so mysterious. The best. ❤️❤️❤️ R .I.P.”
