Freelance music publicist and SiriusXM host Eric Alper posted a new tweet on his verified social media page and revealed a little-known truth about Guns N’ Roses’ iconic album: Appetite for Destruction.

According to Alper, Guns N’ Roses’ total budget for that album was almost $370,000. Then, famous singer, songwriter and guitarist Jason Isbell has made an interesting claim after that tweet and said that Slash’s one Gibson Les Paul worth more than entire budge of Appetite for Destruction album.

Here is Alper’s statement:

“Today in 1987, Guns N’ Roses released their debut album, Appetite for Destruction, one of the greatest rock albums of all time.

The total budget for the album was about $370,000. It would go on to sell over 31 million copies worldwide.”

Jason Isbell responded the tweet with Slash-wise:

“Slash has one Les Paul worth more than the entire budget of Appetite.”
