Grammy Awards 2017 nominations were announced yesterday. The categories on which the names appear on the lists were astonished.

Metallica’s “Hardwired” was in the “best rock song” category. In addition, Beyonce’s “Do not Hurt Yourself” was included in the “best rock performance” category. This is another topic that we will discuss. Now the primary subject is Metallica.

Mr Freimuth, senior vice president of the Grammy Awards, spoke of Metallica’s involvement in the rock category. He said:

“To me, it’s a really good sign for metal – that they are having a wider appeal out of just the strictly metal community into the larger rock community. My take on that is they should be really happy that they are getting that broader recognition.”

He also talked about Beyonce and her “rock song”:

“It might raise some questions but, my God, that track rocks.
