Metallica bassist Robert Trujillo‘s son Tye Trujillo and Guns N’ Roses guitarist Slash‘s son London Hudson have a band named ‘Suspect208’ and the official Instagram page of their band announced that they are looking for a new vocalist since their previous vocalist, Noah Weiland was heavily addicted to drugs.
As you might know, Suspect208 has Slash’s son London Hudson on drums, Trujillo’s son Tye on bass, and Stone Temple Pilots lead singer Scott Weiland’s son Noah on vocals. The band released their debut song ‘Long Awaited’ in December 2020.
The band recently shared posts on their official Instagram page announcing that Suspect208’s lead singer Noah Weiland is fired from the band due to his excessive substance abuse.
Here is what the official statement of the band said:
“As many of you know, we let our singer, Noah, go. We were really close to him and it is the last thing we would’ve ever wanted to do, but it had to be done for his safety, as well as the longevity of the band. This decision was made by the band because it was the last thing we could do to keep going.
Noah was not writing lyrics or lifting his weight in the band for two months before we let him go. He was heading down a dark path of drug use that got in the way of our friendship as well as the band. Lastly, there were many instances of blow-ups over very small issues we’d confront him with.
We wish him the best, and we deeply care about him. However, we did as much as we could to help him. Thank you to those who stick with us on this journey, we are very grateful.”
After the announcement, the band shared another post revealing that after the departure of Noah, Suspect208 is looking for a new vocalist and they have a few requirements like being between 18-24, must live in L.A., and should send them a cover of Led Zeppelin song ‘Black Dog.’
Here is what the band stated in their announcement:
“Suspect208 singer wanted
