Legendary musician and filmmaker, Rob Zombie, took his official Instagram account to share a new post and remembered the good old days while paying his tribute to Alice Cooper.

As you might remember, Rob Zombie and Alice Cooper collaborated for a song named ‘Hands Of Death (Burn Baby Burn)’ from ‘The X-Files’ album, which was recorded for the self-titled science fiction series.

Rob and Alice have nominated for the Grammy Award for Best Metal Performance in 1997 with this song. However, they lost Rage Against The Machine’s ‘Tire Me’ song. Also, this song featured in Rob’s ‘Past, Present & Future’ album.

While Rob Zombie stated that this was the first solo type recording in his career, he also showed his respect and gratitude for Alice by saying that it was so cool and a great experience to be nominated for Grammy with his ‘pal the Coop.’

Here is what Rob Zombie wrote:

“In the studio with Alice Cooper and Terry Date back in 1995 recording Hands Of Death for the X-Files album. It was my first solo type recording and we were nominated for a Grammy. Being nominated with my pal the Coop was pretty cool.”
