The multitasker rock and metal singer -and of course, movie director too-, Rob Zombie, has shared some rare photos on his Instagram page and revealed a never-before-told story about his first horror movie named ‘House Of 1000 Corpses.’

In the caption, Rob celebrated the 17th release date anniversary of that movie and revealed a tough situation he faced before its release. At the end of the statement, Zombie said that ‘it was worth it’.

Here’s what he wrote:

“17 years ago today, House of 1000 Corpses was finally released! The film was actually shot 20 years ago but sat on a shelf collecting dust waiting to be reborn.

It was a long, long crazy journey to get it on the big screen but it was worth it! 🎉 People always quote lines from the film to me. What’s your favorite line?”

A fan named Adam commented:

“It’s from the DVD menu screen but I use “well shit the bed!” on a regular basis.”

Another Instagram user named C-Bone wrote:

” ‘Little dick Wick, playing with his prick, don’t his smell just make ya sick?!’ That line was hilarious 😂”

A fan named Betty said:

“When I was in high school my mom worked in a bar called Rockwell’s and the cook would make me food and always write quotes from this movie on the to-go boxes. 🤓”
