Musician and filmmaker Rob Zombie posted a new picture with his wife, Sheri Moon Zombie, and rap musician DMC, and he recalled the first time he met with DMC.

As you can see in the picture below, Sheri, Rob, and DMC were hugging each other while posing for the camera backstage, and they were all looking happy. Sheri Moon Zombie was making a peace sign with her hand, but Rob and DMC stayed cool for the photoshoot.

In the caption, Rob Zombie mentioned that this picture was taken in Cleveland at the Alternative Press awards. He revealed that he first met with DMC in New York at Chung King Studios while he was recording with White Zombie in 1989.

According to Rob, Sheri and DMC started to do a quick rap of ‘It’s Tricky’ of RUn-DMC right after they met each other. He said that it wasn’t hard for Sheri to get back in 80’s hip-hop. In this way, Rob also showed what an easy-going person DMC is.

Here is what Rob Zombie wrote:

“Backstage in Cleveland at the Alternative Press awards with Sheri Moon Zombie and DMC. The first time I met DMC was in 1989 at Chung King Studios in NYC while recording with White Zombie.

Fun fact Sheri and DMC did a quick rap of It’s Tricky on the red carpet. Doesn’t take much to get Sheri going on 80’s hip-hop.”
