Widely known for being the guitarist of Rob Zombie, John 5, shared a video of himself on his official Instagram page while playing a special version of the ‘Happy Birthday’ song for Mötley Crüe bassist Nikki Sixx’s 61st birthday.

As you may know, John 5 once revealed in an interview that Nikki Sixx is his best friend and he inspires him in many ways with his happy marriage, happy life, and a successful band. In addition to John 5’s statements, two close-friends always comment on each other’s social media posts, showing the ultimate rock bromance.

Here is what John 5 previously stated about his friendship with Nikki Sixx:

“Nikki, he’s my best friend. We love each other. He has inspired me and taught me so much about life in general. He’s a phenomenal songwriter, lyricist, author, everything. He’s always telling me to listen to this audiobook or see this movie.

He has a happy marriage, a happy life, a successful band he started from the ground up. He’s one of the most inspiring people. He’ll text me all the time to read something or try something. It’s wonderful.”

Since it was Nikki Sixx 61st birthday on December 11, fans were curious to see how John 5 will celebrate his buddy’s birthday and his recent Instagram post gave everybody a genuine smile. John 5 shared a video of himself playing the ‘Happy Birthday’ song for Sixx.

In the video, John 5 started off with a joyful and energetic speech stating that it’s his best friend’s birthday. Later on, he played the song and ended it by stating that he loves Nikki with a thrilling voice showing that he feels lucky to have him as his friend.

While fans are going crazy over the cuteness of the video since the energy of John 5 shined through and the level of affection is admirable, Nikki Sixx commented on the post and thanked his friend for the ultimate birthday song. Mötley Crüe drummer Tommy Lee‘s wife Brittany Furlan Lee also commented on the video with a bunch of ‘praising’ emojis.
