Led Zeppelin frontman Robert Plant released a new song, ‘High And Lonesome’ featuring Alison Krauss via his official YouTube account.

Robert and Alison collaborated for the first time back in 2007 when they recorded the ‘Raising Sand’ album, which won the Album Of The Year award at the 51st Grammy Awards. In the following year, Robert and Alison went touring, playing the songs from ‘Raising Sand’ and some new versions of Led Zeppelin songs.

However, the successful duo focused on their solo career afterward. Thirteen years after their collaboration, they announced a brand new record, named ‘Raise The Roof,’ which will be their second studio album and will drop on November 19.

The first single, ‘Can’t Let Go,’ was released in August and the community had been excitedly waiting for another single from the album. Today, Robert finally released the highly-awaited single ‘High And Lonesome,’ which is available on YouTube.

Robert Plant announced the release:

“Provided to YouTube by Warner Music UK. ‘High and Lonesome’ – Robert Plant – Alison Krauss.”
