The iconic bassist of the heavy metal band Metallica, Rob Trujillo has talked about their plans for the future, including the live performances, during the latest interview he gave to The Oakland Press.
Recently, the great bassist Rob Trujillo has revealed what the band is planning in terms of its musical journey for the upcoming period. After their last project, ‘Encore Drive-In Nights,’ Trujillo stated that they are looking forward to doing more works together.
Said that they have some ideas about how they want to pursue making music together, Rob unveiled that there may be one or two more Metallica performances. He added that the possibilities go on and on.
Featured in the ‘Encore Drive-In Nights‘ series, Metallica premiered their show with a full set screening August 29th at hundreds of drive-in and outdoor theaters across the United States and Canada. The four members worked in the same room making music for the first time in almost a year through this event.
Here is what Rob Trujillo said during the interview:
“Obviously these are crazy times, and it takes a lot to take that first step, and I feel like we’ve done that. We have some ideas about how we want to pursue making music together.
We’re going to put something together and it’s going to be exciting musically, and maybe there’ll be another performance or two — not exactly sure when or how or what, but there are things in the works.
We’ll get through this stuff now and start figuring out what’s our next step towards creativity. [The possibilities] go on and on and on. That’s kind of where we’re at.”
