Roger Taylor, the drummer of the British rock band Queen, has taken Instagram to announce highly-unexpected news that Queen will officially be on the Chinese video-sharing social networking service, TikTok, beginning from the 17th November.
As you may know, the iconic band Queen has been quite active musically, filling the gap COVID-19 carved by preventing highly-missed big events and epic concerts throughout 2020.
As a highly successful collaborative act in the world scene, Queen + Adam Lambert released their acclaimed live album, ‘Live Around the World,’ on October 2, 2020, by Hollywood Records in North American and EMI worldwide.
On their official YouTube channel, Queen has been also releasing some unique performances from their latest live album. Most recently, the band has come up with the show-stopping performance of ‘Somebody To Love,’ which was captured at the Isle Of Wight Festival in 2016.
Stemming from the point they have reached in terms of interaction on YouTube, Queen has confirmed that their social media journey will continue through more channels.
Recently on Instagram, Roger Taylor has surprised the fans by posting a video, which reveals that Queen will be on one of the most popular social media services of the last years, TikTok, on November 17, 2020.
Here’s what Roger Taylor said in his latest Instagram post:
