Queen’s legendary drummer Roger Taylor spoke in the recent interview with Rolling Stone and revealed his opinion about the sequel of the ‘Bohemian Rhapsody’ movie/biopic of the band.

In the conversation, Roger stated that the Bohemian Rhapsody movie was great, and they felt delighted during the filming and the post-movie process. However, he thinks that there is no way to shoot a sequel to the movie and saddened the community with the announcement.

Roger said that making a biographical movie is a dangerous territory to get in, and it would be impossible to make it without having a really good script and scenario. He revealed the chance of making this movie by saying that he would ‘maybe’ think about it if somebody came up with a genius plan.

Here is what Roger Taylor said:

“I have to say no. I really do think that we need to sit back for a year or two and look at things and see if that is a believable or credible thing to do. The movie was a great hit. We were delighted, obviously.

But I think I wouldn’t want to be seen as cashing in again. I’d have to have a very, very good script and scenario to make that work. Right now, I can’t think of a way of doing a sequel.”

He continued:

“If somebody comes up with a genius plan, maybe we’ll think about it. Right now, we’re just very happy with what the movie did.

There are so many sequels that don’t match up to the original one. There are obvious ones that did, but on the whole, I think it’s dangerous territory.”
