Queen co-founder and drummer Roger Taylor was interviewed by the British newspaper The Sun this week and revealed his plans on installing 20ft statue of Freddie Mercury while renovating his garden in the near future.
According to the latest statements that he made to The Sun, Roger plans to make restoration on his garden in the near future, and he wants to put a luxurious pool with a bar and a jacuzzi. Roger also has some plans for the garden that Freddie Mercury would love if he were alive.
While he has already had that 20 foot (6 meters) Freddie Mercury statue for a while, it was in a private warehouse. After he decided to redo the huge garden of his home in Surrey, England, he revealed that he also plans to put the huge Freddie statue in front of the garden.
Here is what Roger said about the statue:
“It was in a warehouse, costing money, so I said ‘Why don’t they just put it on a lorry and bring it here, and we’ll put it in the garden?’
I also thought it would be very funny to have the statue there and I think Freddie would have found it hilarious.”
