Rolling Stones’ iconic frontman Mick Jagger and Foo Fighters founder Dave Grohl just released a brand new song together, which was written and sung by Jagger but Grohl was the hero behind the drums, bass, and guitar.
Just some hours ago, Mick Jagger surprised his fans with a new song ‘EASY SLEAZY‘ which he apparently wrote ‘about eventually coming out of lockdown with some much–needed optimism.’ He decided to give his fans the gift of music so as to encourage them during these challenging days which have affected everyone on different levels.
Although the song was released less than a day ago, on April 13, it has already received almost 600 thousand views, and thousands of comments. While some fans expressed their gratitude for getting a song like that ‘to shake the stress away‘ other said they cannot believe that Mick Jagger is almost 80 but can still perform, act, and act like a 20 year old.
Here’s how Mick Jagger described his new single on YouTube:
“I wanted to share this song that I wrote about eventually coming out of lockdown, with some much-needed optimism – thank you to Dave Grohl for jumping on drums, bass, and guitar, it was a lot of fun working with you on this – hope you all enjoy ‘Eazy Sleazy!'”
This is what a fan commented:
“Sometimes, all we need during these crazy times is just a simple rockin’ song to shake the stress away. Well done, gentlemen! We salute you!”
And another fan said:
“This collab is a dream come true for many of us, including Dave Grohl.”
Here’s what a fan said about Mick Jagger’s performance:
“Mick is almost 80 and can still sing and snarl with barely any loss of range or power. He’s just amazing… and never mind that he has a physique that most 20 year-olds would be envious of. What a legend.”
