The great frontman of the Canadian rock band Rush, Geddy Lee has taken Instagram to talk about one of his most special projects, ‘Big Beautiful Book of Bass,’ which was published for the bass nerds in 2018, and announced its luxe edition.

The legendary bassist and the lead vocalist of the band, Geddy Lee has expressed his feelings about his highly successful book project lately. Admitted that it was a passion work and he is so gratified with it, Lee has revealed the good news that now there is a ‘Big Beautiful Bonus Poster’ available with the luxe edition of the ‘BBBoB.’

Published on December 18, 2018, by Harper Collins, the ‘Big Beautiful Book of Bass’ is one of the most definitive volumes on bass with Geddy Lee’s personal collection of vintage electric bass guitars, dating from the 1950s to the 1980s.

For the past seven years before the book’s release, he’s dedicated himself to studying the history of the instrument thats been so essential to his career, collecting hundreds of basses from around the globe.

Written with arts journalist Daniel Richler, photographed in breathtaking detail by Richard Sibbald, and with insight from Geddy’s trusted bass tech and curator, John “Skully” McIntosh, ‘Big Beautiful Book of Bass’ profiles over 250 classic basses from Geddy’s extensive collection.
