Former vocalist of Van Halen and the current member of The Circle, Sammy Hagar, took to his official Instagram account to share a new post and admitted that Rick Springfield is better than him for singing ‘I’ve Done Everything For You.’

Sammy shared a picture with a barman, who is just looking like Rick Springfield, in his Beach Bar Rum, and stated that he was trying to teach how to make a classic mojito while following the social distance rules.

As you might remember, Sammy recorded a song named ‘I’ve Done Everything For You’ in 1977. After a short period, Rick Springfield released a great cover of it in 1981, and this cover became a Top10 hit in the same year.

Furthermore, one of the fans wrote that Rick Springfield sang ‘I’ve Done Everything For You’ better than Sammy in the comment section, and Sammy confirmed that Rick was better than him because he did have a much bigger hit compared to himself.

Here is what Sammy Hagar captioned:

Trying to teach this young whippersnapper Rick Springfield at a distance how to make a classic mojito in Sammy’s Beach Bar Rum, he’s Learning fast.”

A fan named Gabes added this comment:

“He did sing it better Sam…”

Sammy Hagar replied:

“He did have a bigger hit than me that’s for sure haha!”
