Former Van Halen frontman currently working with The Circle, Sammy Hagar, was recently interviewed by Steve Baltin of Forbes alongside his business partner and also musician Rick Springfield this week and talked about what he’s doing during the coronavirus outbreak.
As you might already remember, Sammy Hagar and the Circle has released their latest album named ‘Lockdown 2020’ in January and it features eleven never-released before songs that were covered by Sammy Hagar, Jason Bonham, Michael Anthony, and Vic Johnson. According to the official press release, all of these tracks were recorded virtually during the band’s lockdown sessions while they had to stay home during the outbreak.
In his latest interview with Forbes, despite releasing an album that features eleven tracks, Sammy Hagar confessed that he was not prolific at all. According to Sammy, despite having millions of ideas, he could not make it real during the outbreak.
Here is what he said:
“It’s funny cause I haven’t been that prolific during COVID. I have a million ideas. But I’m having a hard time with lyrics because I’m not a negative person and there’s so many negative things.”
