Former Van Halen singer and The Circle frontman Sammy Hagar announced new details about his annual ‘Birthday Bash’ by sharing a new post on his official Twitter account.

‘Birthday Bash’ is an event that Sammy has been organizing for years. Sammy, his friends, and devoted fans gather every year in the Red Rocker’s nightclub named Cabo Wabo Cantina in Mexico to celebrate this special day.

Last month, Sammy revealed that this year’s ‘Birthday Bash’ can’t happen due to increasing coronavirus cases in the country. However, the ongoing vaccination process seems to have encouraged Sammy to reconsider his decision, but this time, the event will take place in Catalina Island.

In the announcement, Sammy pointed out that there will be major restrictions to join the event, such as proof of COVID-19 vaccination, with the second shot being done at least two weeks before the show.

Additionally, Sammy stated that all the guests will have to wear masks during the show due to the safety precautions except when actively eating and drinking. Also, children under 12 will not be admitted.

Sammy Hagar revealed the details for his ‘Birthday Bash’ event:

“We have important Birthday Bash information! We are following the lead of the major music and live entertainment companies and are requiring proof of full COVID-19 vaccination at the Birthday Bash Shows on Catalina Island, children under the age of 12 will not be admitted, and masks will be required to be worn by all individuals.

Should you be unable to attend, we have added a 2 day period for those who wish to surrender their entry in the drawing. The random drawing schedule for tickets has also been revised.”
