Former Van Halen members Sammy Hagar and Michael Anthony made a common announcement on their official Instagram accounts today and launched a new Instagram page called ‘Van Hagar / Other Half.’

For the last two years, bands and artists are digging to share unreleased materials from the past. Duff McKagan, Linkin Park, and many other musicians released some of their old goodies while they were unable to record something new due to self-quarantine and coronavirus measures.

Yesterday, former Van Halen singer Sammy Hagar, who has been playing with The Circle, announced via his official Instagram account that there are lots of unreleased materials from his time with Van Halen, and they will release it via their new Instagram page.

In the announcement, Sammy revealed that he has been working with his duo Michael Anthony for a while, and they found some crazy vintage sounds after digging the achieves that nobody heard before. Furthermore, Sammy said that they will continue to dig deep to reveal more materials from those days, and they will share the updates about it on the Instagram page of Van Hagar / Other Half.

Here is what Sammy Hagar said:

“Hey everybody! I’ve got some fresh news for you. Mikey and I have been checking out our old widgets for you, the stuff we all have been doing with years in Van Hagar years, and we have found some of the coolest stuff.

We are digging, we are digging, we are finding nuggets every day. And we are sharing with you. We are going to start a brand new Instagram account, it’s called Van Hagar Other Half. It is going to be fun. I can’t wait.”
