Sammy Hagar, widely known for being the lead singer of Van Halen for 11 years, shared a throwback picture on his official Instagram page with recently deceased legendary guitarist Eddie Van Halen and fans moved by the beautiful picture as well as Eddie Van Halen’s son Wolfgang Van Halen.
In 1985, Sammy Hagar replaced David Lee and became the lead vocalist of the iconic band Van Halen. With Hagar, Van Halen produced four multi-platinum, number one Billboards charting albums titled 5150, OU812, For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge, and Balance as well as many chart hits.
Eddie Van Halen being the main songwriter and guitarist of the Van Halen, which he also co-founded in 1972, Sammy Hagar and Eddie Van Halen were bandmates during Hagar’s time in the band and spent eleven years together.
As we all know, unfortunately, Eddie Van Halen passed away due to throat cancer nearly a month ago and it was his son Wolfgang Van Halen announced the devastating news via his official Twitter page. His fans, family, and everyone from the music industry were grieving due to the heartbreaking news and shared emotional farewell messages.
Sammy Hagar shared a throwback picture with Eddie Van Halen in backstage holding each other’s guitars in 1998 and since Van Halen passed away just recently, fans got emotional in the comment section due to this beautiful picture.
