Former Van Halen vocalist Sammy Hagar‘s lovely daughter Kama Hagar posted a new photo of herself on Instagram and shared some techniques to relax which was also confirmed by her father.

As you may know, Van Halen icon Sammy Hagar has two lovely daughters, Kama and Samantha, from his ongoing marriage with Kari Hagar. Sammy and Kari’s oldest daughter Kama Hagar has dedicated most of her life to mindfulness and wellness.

Kama has been managing her eco-luxury skincare brand named ‘Mukama Botanica’ as well as enlightening her followers on social media about mindfulness as a certified holistic wellness coach.

Recently on Instagram, Kama Hagar posted a picture of herself to announce her new article released on her website about the exercises to get rid of negative thoughts. On the caption of her post, Kama stated that an average person had almost 80,000 thoughts every day and a big portion of those were repetitive negative thoughts. She gave some tips to her followers on how to stop those negative thoughts with only three simple exercises.

Here’s what Kama Hagar stated on the caption of her latest post:

“We have around 80,000 thoughts per day. 60,000 of those thoughts are repetitive thoughts. 40,000 of those are negative thoughts.

That’s a lot of nonsense whirling through our minds every single day🌪. It’s no wonder so many of us feel anxious, depressed, and beaten down by our own internal dialogue.

So what’s the solution? Awareness and practice. We must identify the unproductive thoughts and practice stopping them in their tracks before they get the best of us. Here are three of my favorite pattern-interrupts:

1. Use A Positive Affirmation 📢
2. Do Some Sama Vritti (Equal-parts breathing) 🧘🏻‍♀️
3. Practice Gratitude 🙏🏽

✨ Read on via the link in my bio to learn how and why to use each. ✨”

In the comment section of Kama’s photo, Sammy Hagar showed support for his daughter by approving her recommendation about the methods to stop negative thoughts. Sammy stated that the information his daughter gave was worthy of consideration and added:

Well not that some valuable information!🤙
