Montrose and Van Halen’s Sammy Hagar recently posted a photo with his daughter, which lead to an online conversation with a follower, who asked Sammy what he thought about Wolfgang’s first solo work ‘Distance.’
Sammy Hagar is known for his success both as a solo artist and as the vocalist of Van Halen and his band The Circle. As you probably know, Sammy Hagar was the vocalist of Van Halen from 1985 until 1996, and then from 2003 until 2005.
On the 16th of November, Wolfgang Van Halen released his first solo song called ‘Distance‘ under the name Mammoth WVH. The touching song in which Wolfgang sings about his feelings for his deceased father, Eddie Van Halen, brought tears to the eyes of Van Halen fans.
Reuniting with Eddie before his death, Sammy Hagar was asked about his thoughts on ‘Distance’ as a comment under the photo that he recently posted.
