The Circle frontman and former Van Halen member, Sammy Hagar, posted a new video on his official Instagram account today and showed his long-time friend and Foo Fighters frontman Dave Grohl’s performance from ‘Acoustic-4-A-Cure Concert’ which was made in 2009.

As you may remember, Sammy Hagar organized the 6th annual concert named ‘Acoustic-4-A-Cure’ which aimed to benefit the pediatric cancer program at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital. Many legendary artists joined Hagar including Tom Johnston of The Doobie Brother, Chad Kroeger of Nickelback, Joe Satriani, his long-time buddy Michael Anthony and former Nirvana legend Dave Grohl of Foo Fighters.

Today, Sammy shared the video of Dave Grohl performing ‘Everlong‘ which was the second single of Foo Fighters’ second studio album ‘The Colour And The Shape’ which was considered as one of the best songs of the band ever. Sammy praised his long-time buddy by saying ‘That’s how you make friends for life.’

Here is what Sammy wrote about Grohl:

“Pretty cool when one of your favorite rockers Dave Grohl sings not just any song but your favorite Foo Fighters song to you after showing up for Acoustic for a Cure.”
