Van Halen‘s former lead singer and the current member of The Circle, Sammy Hagar posted an old-dated photo taken during a recording session back in 1979, however, he confirmed he made a mistake in the dates.

As you may know, the iconic vocalist Sammy Hagar has been conducting various businesses including his restaurant in Mexico and his tequila brand named ‘Santo Spirit.’ Hagar has also been working on his projects with his band, The Circle, which was formed by Hagar, original Van Halen bassist Michael Anthony, drummer Jason Bonham, and guitarist Vic Johnson.

Ex-Van Halen star has been using his social media accounts to reach out to the fans and share the details of his recent projects. Hagar often takes his accounts to share his favorite memories from his career and also answers the most wondered questions of his fans.

Recently on Instagram, Sammy Hagar shared a rarely seen photo with Van Halen producer Ted Templeman, Tom Johnson from the Doobies, and famous American singer Nicolette Larson which was taken while they were all recording at the same studio.

On the caption of his post, Sammy named everyone in the photo and gave the date during which he was working on his fifth studio album, ‘Danger Zone.‘ However, moments later, Sammy posted a comment on his own photo and revealed that he made a mistake about the date ‘as usual.’

Here’ how the iconic singer corrected his mistake:

“Ooops I had to correct my dates as usual! 1979 danger zone record Tommy Johnson just straighten me out.”
