Sammy Hagar, the former lead vocalist of Van Halen and current frontman of The Circle, has recalled the good old days he got on the stage night after night for a decade with the late legend Eddie Van Halen, and his long-time bandmate Michael Anthony joined him in the comment section.
The Red Rocker, whose feud with his ex-bandmate, David Lee Roth, was brought to agenda again, has most recently taken Instagram with a heartwarming throwback picture from 1988, during the ‘OU812’ period of Van Halen.
In the caption of the photo, displaying the two legends, Eddie and Sammy, rocking the stage, Hagar asked his fans if they can imagine performing with Eddie Van Halen every night for a decade.
Along with a big part of Hagar’s followers, his bandmate in both Van Halen and The Circle, Michael Anthony, has commented on the post. The bassist expressed how proud he is to have shared the same stage with Eddie and Sammy by saying he can imagine what Hagar mentioned.
Here’s what Sammy Hagar said in his latest Instagram post:
“I love this picture. Can you imagine doing this night after night for a decade?”
Michael Anthony commented as:
“I can!!! 💥👊❤️”
