Skid Row’s former lead vocalist, Sebastian Bach, recently posted a series of photos on his Instagram account and revealed that they have been planning a tour in celebration of the 30th anniversary of their most well-known album.

Sebastian Bach often is an active user of social media and enjoys using his Instagram account to announce his latest projects, express his views on social and political matters, and talk about the everlasting fame of Skid Row. However, with his recent Instagram post, Bach excited all of his fans by announcing that the tour will indeed happen.

As you may recall, Sebastian Bach had said that he wanted to arrange a reunion with his former bandmates in celebration of their ‘Slave To Grind‘ album’s 30th anniversary back in 2019. After not receiving any response from his former bandmates he had said that he’ll do it with his band then. Flashback to almost two years later, and it seems like Bach got what he wanted.

‘Slave to the Grind’ is Skid Row’s second album which was released in June 1991. It was highly appreciated by millions of people shortly after its release and it actually became the first heavy metal album to rank Number 1 on the Billboard 200 charts. In his recent Instagram post, Bach revealed that they will be doing a tour in celebration of this iconic album and that they will perform each song that’s in it.

Hundreds of Skid Row fans commented on Bach’s surprising announcement and expressed their excitement for the upcoming tour. Numerous others commented on the cover of the album which, as it turns out, was painted by David Charles Bierk, Sebastian Bach’s father who was a  realist painter.

Here’s what Sebastian Bach said in the caption of his recent Instagram post:

FALL 2021 we Celebrate the 30th Anniversary of ‘Slave To The Grind’ across the USA. We will play the record IN ITS ENTIRETY! From the first time we did this in 2019 in Hollywood California we knew it was meant to be! Fingers Crossed singing will be allowed again on this planet because we are ready to grind it out America! While some cheered for the upcoming tour dates, others said that they want to see Skid Row in their country too. Time will tell whether the band will decide to expand their limits and give all their devoted fans a show to remember.
