Sebastian Bach, the ex-frontman of Skid Row, has remembered the great times when his band opened for Van Halen’s ‘Balance Tour’ while admitting that it’s hard to believe in the caption of his photo with the late legend, Eddie Van Halen, and the former Van Halen frontman, Sammy Hagar.
The iconic Canadian singer-songwriter, Sebastian Bach, has recently moved his fans with a unique memory from 1996. Bach posted the cover page of the Metal Edge Magazine’s February 1996 issue, which featured the picture of himself taken with Eddie and Sammy during their unforgettable tour.
In the caption of his latest post, Bach said that it’s been so long he looked at a rock magazine that he forgot existed. He also admitted that it’s hard to believe that this happened in this world, referring to his tour with one and only Eddie Van Halen along with Sammy Hagar.
Following the release of their tenth studio album, ‘Balance,’ on January 24, 1995, Van Halen took on a tour called ‘Balance Tour,’ which later turned into ‘Ambulance Tour‘ since Eddie was having hip issues and Alex had to wear a neck brace at that time.
The band, which performed more than 130 shows during the tour, was accompanied by Skid Row, Our Lady Peace, and Collective Soul. While on the road, it’s known that Eddie Van Halen’s relation with the vocalist Sammy Hagar had become strained.
Here’s what Sebastian Bach said in his recent Instagram post:
“Hard to believe it’s been so long I looked at a rock magazine that I forgot this existed. 🤦
