Sebastian Bach recently shared an Instagram post to reveal his upcoming collaboration with Mötley Crüe’s Mick Mars, Guns N’ Roses’ Duff McKagan, and many more musicians to cover a classic.
Previously, McKagan and Bach collaborated on Bach’s fifth solo album entitled ‘Give ‘Em Hell,’ which was released on March 26, 2014. However, the duo had cooperated before that as well since Bach performed ‘Trouble’ from Duff McKagan’s first solo album, ‘Believe in Me’ in 1993.
Therefore the most recent one made their fans very excited and happy, especially when Sebastian Bach revealed that the project will also include Mick Mars as the guitarist and Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker. For the project, the iconic musician will work on ‘Black Betty,’ a 20th-century African-American work song popularized by Ram Jam.
The former Skid Row frontman added that the song’s remake or cover, ‘She Gets Me High,’ will be out very soon as a part of Darryl ‘DMC’ McDaniels’ upcoming vinyl EP, which will consist of star-studded collaborations. Bach highlighted that he can’t wait to share it with his fans.
Bach’s IG post read as follows:
“Coming Soon: ‘She Gets Me High’ by Darryl ‘DMC’ McDaniels, Darryl Makes Comics, DMC with me on vocals, Mick Mars from Mötley Crüe on guitar, Duff McKagan from Guns N’ Roses on bass, and Travis Barker from Blink-182 on the drums. The song is a remake of ‘Black Betty’ by Ram Jam, and it kicks complete and total ass in every way! I can’t wait for you all to crank this up.“
