On a recent Instagram post, Brazilian metal band Sepultura announced the release of the new song ‘Slave New World,’ featuring Trivium singer Matt Heafy.
Before the coronavirus pandemic starts, Sepultura released their latest recording in February 2020, named ‘Quadra,’ but the band couldn’t promote it since then due to the lockdown restrictions.
Even though Sepultura released a brand new album a year ago, they decided to release another recording this year because there were lots of time to deal with especially when they couldn’t play at live shows.
About ten months ago, Sepultura revealed that they are working on a new quarantine record, ‘SepulQuarta,’ featuring lots of musicians and bands such as System of a Down, Megadeth, Anthrax, and many more.
After releasing the album yesterday, Sepultura released a music video for the ‘Slave New World’ song featuring Matt Heafy via Youtube and urged their followers to check out the new material.
Sepultura made the announcement with these words on Instagram:
“The official video for ‘Slave New World’ feat. Matt Heafy is out now! Check the link in bio!”
