Sharon Osbourne talked about her husband Ozzy’s mental health issues during a recent interview with Dailymail and described how they affect him in combination with the ongoing pandemic.

The Prince of Darkness is one of the greatest frontmen in the world. However, he has been suffering from various health problems, specifically related to his drug and alcohol abuse back in the day.

Last year, it was announced that Ozzy has been fighting against Parkinson’s Disease since 2019, and the singer had canceled all the tours and shows because of it. Even though Ozzy has been struggling with Parkinson’s, he showed his passion for making music by releasing a brand new solo record, ‘Ordinary Man,’ in February 2020.

In the conversation, Sharon revealed that Ozzy will soon undergo a critical surgery for his back and neck pain, caused by the fall he experienced back in 2019. Furthermore, Sharon stated that Ozzy missed his friends and musicians, and he is eager to get back to the stage quickly.

However, his health condition doesn’t allow him to tour right now. Despite the fact that Ozzy’s current health status prevents him from getting back to the stage, Sharon pointed out that he is doing just fine with Parkinson’s, and he has managed to get it under control.

Sharon Osbourne on Ozzy Osbourne’s health status in the interview:

“The thing I’m most excited about is my hubby getting back on stage. That’s what I pray for.

It was like that one after the other, and it’s like, ‘Woah, just a minute,’ you know? It breaks your heart that he wants to get back. He misses his friends, his musicians. They’re his partners. He misses that life.

But with his Parkinson’s, he’s fine. He’s fine. He’s got it under control.”

Later in the conversation, Sharon also touched upon the fact that the Osbourne family went through lots of health problems and explained why Ozzy could overcome his problems in the future.
