On Instagram, the iconic musician Elton John shared an illustration of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg in honor of her death and an old photo with his dear friend Billie Jean King to celebrate her recent success and had to experience grief and happiness at the same time.

As you might know, two days ago, Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg sadly passed away at the age of  87. Her cause of death was announced as the complications of pancreatic cancer. Politicians and celebrities mourned after the devastating loss of the legend of the law and feminist icon with their messages on social media platforms.

Recently, Sir Elton John posted an illustration of Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg on his Instagram account in honor of her death. The illustration John shared also included a quote from Ginsburg saying:

Fight for things you care about but do it in a way that will lead others to join you.

On the caption of his post, Elton John thanked Ruth for always being a fearless leader who was known for not being afraid of sticking by the values she believed in regardless of the harsh reactions she received from certain politicians.

The International Tennis Federation decided to rename ‘Fed Cup’ as ‘Billie Jean King Cup‘ to honor the fascinating career of the former World No. 1 professional tennis player.
