The British multi-talent, Elton John shared a post on his Instagram account and expressed his gratitude for having been chosen as the artist of the year for his work, fighting the AIDS epidemic, by Global Citizen.
The iconic singer, pianist, and composer, Sir Elton John, has lately taken Instagram to thank the community of Global Citizen that honors the world leaders who go above and beyond to make the world a better place.
On the eve of the new year, The Global Citizen Prize announced that the artist of 2020 is one and only Elton John for being a role model throughout the years with his praiseworthy fight with AIDS. As we enter into 2021, the community revealed the prizes in such categories as the business leader, citizen of the year, and world leader.
As you might know, the Elton John AIDS Foundation, which was founded in 1992 by Sir Elton John, aims to be a powerful force to end the AIDS epidemic. One of the leading independent AIDS organizations in the world, Elton John AIDS Foundation reaches the most marginalized populations that are left behind by other donors every year.
