Legendary singer Sir Elton John took his official Instagram account to share a new post and revealed an unseen music video from 1983 which excited his devoted fans for the holiday season.
Back in 1983, Elton John released his 17th album named ‘Too Low For Zero,’ which was his best selling album in the ’80s. Also, the album featured a lovely Christmas song named ‘Cold As Christmas (In the Middle of the Year).’
The music video of ‘Cold as Christmas’ has never been released online up until now that Elton John decided to unveil this unseen video as Christmas is getting closer. Considering all the challenges that everyone around the world had to face this year, John seems like he wanted to give a special present to his followers.
Furthermore, Elton revealed the story of this song in the caption of his Instagram post. The iconic musician reminded his followers that this song is not about Christmas, actually, it is telling the story of two lovers drifting apart during a Caribbean summer.
