Exodus and Slayer guitarist, Gary Holt, recently posted a photo on his Instagram account and confessed that he really enjoyed watching Curb Your Enthusiasm even though he’s a huge Seinfeld fan.

Gary Holt is famous for his career as the guitarist and main songwriter of Exodus since 1981. His fame increased when he was hired temporarily to fill in for Jeff Hanneman in Slayer and but was then confirmed to be a permanent member of the band in 2013, after the passing of Hanneman. Holt remained in the band until Slayer split in 2019.

Gary Holt is an active user of social media and he often uses his Instagram account to share sneak peeks from his life, talk about Slayer, interact with his fans, and of course, express his views on various matters, including his favorite shows. In his recent Instagram post, Gary Holt revealed that he has sided with Curb Your Enthusiasm at the Seinfeld vs Curb debate.

As you probably know, Seinfeld and Curb Your Enthusiasm are both Larry David shows but fans often compare these two to each other, and each side supports that one of them is better than the other. Gary Holt confessed that he is a huge Seinfeld fan but also revealed that he feels ‘ashamed to say‘ as he just discovered Curb Your Enthusiasm and now, he believes it’s the best show ever.

Here’s what Gary Holt said in the caption of his recent Instagram post:

“Okay, I’m almost ashamed to say it, being a HUGE Seinfeld fan and all, but JUST yesterday I discovered this show thanks to Lisa Holt and I nearly pissed myself laughing. BEST. SHOW. EVER. A little late to the party but better late than never!”
