Heavy metal band Slipknot’s DJ, Sid Wilson, recently posted a video on his Instagram account and revealed that against popular belief, his favorite genre is not metal but hip hop and advised his fans to keep an eye out for his upcoming projects.
Although Sid Wilson is known for his successful career as the turntablist of the legendary heavy metal band Slipknot, he has also achieved critical acclaim with his solo projects. In 2018, he released the first album of his ‘Sexcapades Of The Hopeless Robotic‘ trilogy which was appreciated by both fans and critics.
The second volume was released in late 2019 which featured famous rappers such as Sluggo, Arius, Killah Priest, Rome Fortune, and musicians such as DJ Q*bert, Bizzythowed, and Deewillalien. While fans have been expecting the third volume of the trilogy, with his recent Instagram post, Sid signaled that it might be released soon.
In the caption of his recent Instagram post, which was shared on Valentine’s Day, Sid said that his true valentine’s is hip hop and advised his fans to spend this romantic day by listening to some of his music on his ‘LoVe oF hIpHoP.’ He also advised his fans to keep an eye on his upcoming projects which initiated the rumor that the third volume of the trilogy might be around the corner.
