Slipknot drummer Jay Weinberg spoke in an interview with Forbes and revealed the songwriting process of Slipknot’s upcoming album.

He said that they spend about 13 hours a day without any breaks. That’s amazing… Here’s the statement:

“When we get together, we are incredibly focused, more so than any band I’ve ever been in. We spend about 13 hours a day without any breaks. No days off for about like three weeks or a month. It’s a lot of hard work, but everybody is very focused. Everybody really wants to make a great song.

I’m really stoked to get to see things come from the kernel of one guitar riff, and see it flourish into an amazing song. That’s a really incredible thing to be doing with a band that’s meant so much to me for well over half my life.”
