Slipknot drummer Jay Weinberg has shared an exciting photo on his official Instagram page, and he showed off his precious ice hockey mask for the first time.
Long before Jay became a drummer, his main goal was to become an ice hockey player. He grew up in the late 90s and early 2000s, witnessing the success of the ice hockey team, Devils. Today, Jay still plays men’s league when he is not on tour with Slipknot.
That ice hockey mask is a special design made for Jay Weinberg. In a recent conversation with former professional goaltender Mike McKenna, they talked about the origin of the mask and many other things about the masks. You can reach the interview on Jay Weinberg’s bio.
As the all Slipknot fans know, the band members eager to change their masks frequently. The band changed the masks they use earlier this year but there is no news about if they will make any adjustments next year.
