Slipknot and Stone Sour’s iconic frontman, Corey Taylor shared a recent Instagram post on his verified Instagram page and revealed the Collectors Edition of his documentary, “In Search of Darkness.”
As you will see the post below, Corey Taylor also shared the short story of how he terrified with John Carpenter’s The Thing.
Here is the caption:
“Click the link in my bio to get much more 80s horror in my Collectors Edition of the documentary In Search of Darkness, but do it before midnight on Halloween, when the opportunity will be gone forever.”
And here’s what’s written on the photo:
“John carpenter’s The Thing … I saw it on HBO when I was nine or ten and it was a scariest thing I’ve ever seen in my life… living in Iowa it was snowing at the time while I was watching it. I was terrified dude, like really freaking out.
And then right on the heels of that I saw American Werewolf in London, which was even more nuts … those were my first introductions to ’80s horror and after that everything else just felt dull. It was just such an overpowering sense of Holy Puck, what was that?”
