Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor joined an interview with Loudwire Nights and talked about the famous rapper Kanye West and his recent mental instability.

As you might recall, the well-known rap musician Kanye West announced his candidacy for president in the 2020 US election with a tweet on his official Twitter account. After remaining silent for a while, Kanye started his campaign with a rally in Charleston, South Carolina during which he broke down in tears.

Following the rally, Kanye West shared some statements on social media revealing private information about his marriage with Kim Kardashian and claimed she tried to lock him up. Kanye’s unexpected moves raised doubts about his mental health.

Recently, in an interview with Loudwire Nights, Slipknot and Stone Sour frontman Corey Taylor commented on bizarre statements and the current actions of Kanye West. Taylor mentioned the time Kanye received an award for ‘showing up’ in a ceremony of MTV.

Moreover, he added that he had laughed at West initially, but when things got serious, Taylor started worrying about him. Corey also stated he believed Kanye West might have been struggling with bipolar disorder and wished he would get the help he needed.

Here’s what Corey Taylor stated about Kanye West in the recent interview he joined:

“I remember when he first announced that he was running for president in that weird rant that he did on MTV when he was given a ‘Thanks For Showing Up’ award in 2015. When he first announced it then, I laughed, but then seeing this behavior that is happening right now, that worries me.

That’s not the normal behavior of someone who is… That seems like someone who’s having a mental break, to be honest. It sounds like someone who is borderline. I don’t wanna say it’s a borderline personality disorder, but it almost feels bipolar.

When you exacerbate it with fame and money and all of these different things, people have a right to be concerned. He’s got a family; he’s got people who care about him and worry about him.”

He continued:

“It’s one thing to laugh about it from afar; it’s another thing to watch a breakdown happening in real-time, especially with someone who is loved by so many people, and a lot of his actions are taken very seriously.

So when he says some of that shit, people take him seriously. I just hope that he gets the help that he needs, let’s put it that way.”
