System Of A Down drummer John Dolmayan remembered the September 11 attacks by sharing a new post on his official Instagram account and mourned the death of the people who died from these terrorist attacks.

On September 11, 2001, the terrorist group al-Qaeda organized four coordinated attack series to the United States of America with the planes and killed over 2900 innocent people and injured around 25.000 people. After this horrible attack, the whole world was saddened.

In the post, John mentioned the police force and firefighters who responded with the first call and put their lives on risk to save other innocent people from the disaster and showed his respect for them.

Furthermore, John stated that people shouldn’t be idolizing the actors, musicians, athletes. Instead, they should idolize the people like police officers and firefighters who deserve their respect and deserve their support during the hardest times.

Here is what John Dolmayan wrote:

“Let’s remember the fallen innocents who went to work not knowing it was their last day and honor the firefighters, police, and other first responders who knowingly put their lives in peril to help as many people live as possible though it cost them their own lives.

They don’t get paid millions, they don’t get awards, we often take them for granted. They are the best of us.

Don’t idolize actors, musicians, or athletes who are merely entertainers. Idolize the people who really deserve your respect and more importantly deserve your support.”
