Ozzy Osbourne’s record label Sony revealed in their recent financial statement that one of the records they are scheduled to release is Ozzy’s.

As you may recall, Ozzy Osbourne released his latest album ‘Ordinary Man’ in 2020 through Epic Records. The Prince of Darkness released his twelfth studio record after a ten-year gap, which marked the longest time period between the singer’s albums.

Osbourne seems more eager to release something new now since he is scheduled to drop his new album only two years after ‘Ordinary Man’s release. His name was in their financial statement under the article ‘Selected upcoming releases anticipated over the next six months.‘ Among those names were also ASAP Rocky, Adele, and Travis Scott.

The singer stated a month ago that his new album will have a similar tone to his latest one. He also stated that he couldn’t describe it right now because he hadn’t heard it yet. Apparently, the songs are recorded part by part, and the musicians don’t get to listen to the songs completely.

Here is what he stated a month ago about the upcoming album:

“It’s going to be similar in tone to ‘Ordinary Man.’ But I can’t describe it completely. I’ve not heard it for a while because it keeps going over to the next person to add their parts – we’re fucking around with it all the time.”

‘Ordinary Man’ featured several well-known musicians such as Red Hot Chili Peppers’ Chad Smith and Duff McKagan of Guns N’ Roses. Such collaborations are expected by the fans in the new album as well.

Ozzy recently announced that it will feature legendary guitarists like Jeff Beck, Eric Clapton, Tony Iommi, and Zakk Wylde. There has been no official announcement about when the album will be released, but Sony said it is expected in early 2022.
