Soundgarden’s iconic late vocalist Chris Cornell’s widow, Vicky Cornell, uploaded a new post on Instagram Stories and shared a touching message that was written by Masha Ghandour and Emmanuelle Naouri for the people who had difficulties due to COVID-19.

People continue to remain under quarantine in their homes to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. However, this is extremely difficult for homeless people.

Vicky jumped to social media to support a non-profit charity named ‘Habitat for Humanity’ that builds homes and provides all kinds of help for the homeless and helpless people.

Asking her fans to donate money to build the structures for homeless people, Vicky said that she is proud of the founders of this charity. Click here to reach the donate page.

Here’s what Vicky stated:

“We as human beings must think of children in need of a home. The global pandemic is greatly affecting the world. Life has been put on hold for everyone, and everyday people are scared to find out bad news.

All of us have to stay in our homes, to keep ourselves and the world safe. This, however, isn’t a possibility for everyone. Some families are on the streets, with no stable home, moving from one shantytown to another.

We must help them all year round, but especially in this time of crisis. We believe that every person should have a decent, safe and affordable place to live in.

Our mission is to collect as many donations as we can, they will go to « Habitat for Humanity », which is a nonprofit organization with a goal to help these families. No donation is too small.

With your help, we will be able to save lives, even from the midst of our home. Sincerely, M&E. So proud of you Mash Ghandour.”
