Legendary heavy metal band Steel Panther has shared a new update on the official Instagram account and made a devastating coronavirus announcement for the community.
As you might already know, coronavirus is spreading all around the globe since the start of 2020, and it affected over 25 countries since then. Currently, over 1M cases have confirmed by the authorities.
Most of the bands like Alice Cooper, KISS, Avril Lavigne, and Tool, decided to postpone their tours because of this outbreak.
Steel Panther announced that they decided to postpone the upcoming April and May shows due to the coronavirus pandemic. Also, they stated that they will reschedule these events soon.
Here is the statement from Steel Panther:
“Due to the current global health crisis as well as government-imposed travel and performance restrictions, Steel Panther’s upcoming April and May shows have been postponed. Unfortunately, Boise and Jackson will not be rescheduled.
This very difficult decision was made following the recommendations of government authorities including the Center for Disease Control to reduce the spread of the coronavirus disease.”
They added:
“Please hold on to your tickets as they will be honored for the newly rescheduled dates which will be announced soon. For Boise and Jackson, refunds are available at point of purchase.”
