During a conversation with ‘AMBY,’ Steel Panther guitarist Satchel and singer Michael Starr compared themselves with one of the greatest rock bands, The Beatles. Even they compared with the band’s bassist and singer, Paul McCartney.

While talking about their latest album ‘Heavy Metal Rules,’ the interviewer asked a question about their similarities with The Beatles, and surprisingly, Steel Panther members started to compare The Beatles members with themselves in a really serious attitude.

Here’s the conversation below.

Satchel said:

“That’s only if you take each individual member of The Beatles and compare us, like, obviously I would be compared to Paul McCartney because I’m, like, the boss of everybody else.”

Michael said:

“No, you would be John Lennon. I would be Paul McCartney.”

Satchel said:

“But I’m more likely a John Lennon at this point.”

Michael said:

“Well, everybody is.”

Satchel said:

“So, our drummer [Stix Zadinia]… I mean, it’s just mano-a-mano: if I’m gonna go against, Paul McCartney was the cute one, so I guess I would take him on, I’m definitely cuter than Paul McCartney.

I mean, no offense, but you’d be, like, Ringo [Starr], you’d have to go against Ringo, I think. You might be able to top George Harrison.”
