Here is what Steven Wilson said:
“Today marks exactly 10 years since my Dad passed away. This photo was taken less than 3 years earlier on the occasion of his 70th birthday. When I was 7 or 8 years old he would endlessly listen to Dark Side of the Moon, and it became the first music I really engaged with.
Later on, he bought me my first guitar and using his electronics genius he built me a 4 track cassette recorder, an echo machine, a sequencer and many other gadgets, all of which he designed himself. He had the gentlest and kindest soul. I miss him every day.”
