The Pretty Reckless frontwoman Taylor Momsen recently posted a photo on her Instagram account and revealed that her band’s new album is going to be released a month from now and said that it has become available for pre-order.

Taylor Momsen is without a doubt one of the most successful and talented female rockstars of all time. However, her career as a musician did not begin until 2002 when she recorded two songs for the ‘School’s Out! Christmas’ album. Before that, she was mainly known for her career as a model and actress, and she starred in the movie ‘How the Grinch Stole Christmas’ and then the famous ‘Gossip Girl‘ teenage drama series.

After retiring from acting, Momsen co-founded The Pretty Reckless and has been enjoying a career as a rockstar ever since. The band’s third album ‘Who You Selling For‘ was released on October 21, 2016, and it ranked No.13 on the US Billboard 200 charts. Ever since The Pretty Reckless fans have been expecting the band’s new album.

In November 2019, Momsen had announced that the band has been working on its new album ‘Death by Rock and Roll‘ and had said that the album will be released soon. In her recent Instagram post, she announced the release date which is February 12, 2020, and said that the album is not available for pre-order. She also added that her fans can now stream the single ‘And So It Went‘ on all music platforms.

Here’s what Taylor Momsen said in the caption of her recent Instagram post:

“Pre-order the new album Death by Rock and Roll coming February 12. Link in bio! And stream the new single ‘And So It Went’ everywhere now!

Even though ‘And So It Went’ was released less than a week ago, it has already reached thousands of views. During a previous interview, Taylor Momsen had said that the song is a reflection of the current state of civil unrest arising from the youth who ‘have finally had enough and rise up.’
