The Pretty Reckless frontwoman Taylor Momsen took her official Instagram account today and stated that they had to postpone all of their upcoming tour dates due to coronavirus measures.
Although The Pretty Reckless released their new studio album ‘Death By Rock And Roll’ two months ago, the band couldn’t have any chance to promote it with live events. The global pandemic forced many artists to postpone their shows. This difficult decision had to be made to meet with the fans at healthier and safer times.
The Pretty Reckless was going to participate in Nova Rock Festival on June 2, 2021, in Rock İm Park on June 11, 2021, in Tons Of Rock on June 24, 2021, and in Lollapalooza Stockholm on July 2, 2021.
However, Taylor Momsen stated that because of the COVID-19, the band decided to postpone all of the tours in 2021 and to start touring all around the world in 2022. She also shared her excitement about the upcoming announcements about next year’s tours.
Here’s what she wrote:
“After much thought and very careful consideration to the ongoing Covid epidemic, we have made the difficult decision to postpone all touring until 2022. We absolutely cannot wait to come back and see you around the world in 2022… Stay tuned for announcements coming this week!”
