Audioslave and Soundgarden‘s late frontman Chris Cornell‘s wife Vicky Cornell posted photos of her family on their way to Lollapalooza Chicago in 2010 and The Pretty Reckless singer Taylor Momsen responded to the post by revealing how much she wished to be there.

The Iconic Soundgarden singer Chris Cornell sadly passed away at the age of 52 leaving his devastated family and fans behind. After his performance at the Fox Theatre, Chris was found dead in a hotel room on May 18, 2017. Cornell had been suffering from depression for a long time before his death. His death later revealed as suicide by hanging himself.

Ten years ago, Soundgarden performed live in Lollapalooza at Grant Park, Chicago on August 8, 2010. This concert was the band’s third concert since their reunion previously in April. The band played their hit songs one after another, including ‘Spoonman‘ and ‘Black Hole Sun.’

Recently on Instagram, Chris Cornell’s wife Vicky Cornell posted some photos of her late husband and their kids on the way to Chicago in 2010. On the caption of her post, Vicky mentioned what a great father Chris was to their children. Apparently, he took the kids to an amusement park just before his performance in front of thousands of people.

Here’s what Vicky Cornell stated on the caption of her recent post:

10 years ago tonight, driving to lollapalooza Chicago where Soundgarden was headlining their first festival in over a decade. Our babies passed out on the drive over, they were so tired – we’d been running around all day at the amusement park! He was always a daddy first… no matter what was going on!
